OUR STORY

 

Limerick Theatre Productions, formerly known as Femme Limerick Productions, was incorporated in 2025 as a 501(c)3 non-profit theatre production company. We are a small Chicago based theatre production company that is owned and operated by African American women. The company's goal is to provide a platform for independent local and nationwide artists. The company strives to produce theatre and enlighten as well as entertain audiences.

Our mission is not just a statement but a commitment to our community. We are deeply dedicated to creating a platform for the works of unknown writers, playwrights, musicians, filmmakers, and artists. We believe in the value of their work and aim to purchase a space that will act as a hub for artists and the entire community. This space will allow artists to rent space to showcase their works and provide a platform for them to be seen and acknowledged for the works they produce. Limerick Theatre Productions is unwavering in its dedication to supporting local talent, making them feel recognized, valued, and appreciated.
